Guest writer, Sara, from Italy

Today I’d like to introduce you to a friend I have made on Etsy.  Her name is Sara, and I think you’ll enjoy meeting her and seeing her delightful artwork.
My name is Sara, I’m 26 years old and I live in Italy. My greatest passion is to make jewelry and home decors with polymer clay, a material that allows me to express my ideas and my personality. My works are inspired by the beauty of the Nature: flowers, plants, animals, clouds, ladscapes, seascapes…
A lot of my jewels are one of a kind and decorated with Swarovski crystals, are romantic pieces with which I wish to express beauty, delicacy, femininity.
There are also the funny animal of the “To you” collection. I love animals very much and I wanted to make a collection dedicated to them.
I started making jewelry in 2007, I made them for myself, then I opened a blog for sharing my works and other people wanted to buy my necklaces, so I started selling through the blog. Over time I improved my technique and my style has been defined, although I still have to work to improve! On august/september 2011 I opened my shop and I started design collections made for it!
Talking about design, I have a diploma in industrial design and a degree in fashion and costume. My background is helping me to have a methodology in the work process, even if I have to improve the marketing communication which is very important for all types of businnes, also if it’s a micro business like mine!
I think I’m lucky to have artistic skills because I can invent my job and enjoy doing what I like!
I want to thank Melissa for for giving me the opportunity to be on his wonderful blog!
